Alleen and Wanda are regular visitors to my office. Alleen is a yellow Lab and Wanda is a Golden Retriever. If you have an allergy to dog hair, or any other concerns about sharing a room with them, then please let me know and we will find a solution, whether that be a referral to another therapist or a time slot in which they are not there. However, I'm afraid that the dog hair is a problem I cannot fully eliminate, so for allergy sufferers, I am afraid I have no solution. Both dogs are a part of the Guide Dogs of the Desert organization, located in Palm Springs, CA. They are both currently designated to support the breeding component of the program, and will live with me and my family throughout their puppy days and into adulthood. Their job is to sleep quietly while we work and to obey all my instructions. They are active in the community and attend all functions and are permitted to enter all shops, restaurants and other public places. Please help me to maintain a proper training environment and do not visit with them unless you check with me first. They are both very social and eager, but they must not be allowed to forget their manners.
