Mental Health Emergency
In the case of a mental health emergency, please call your primary care provider, or 911.

You may also elect to call the San Diego Access and Crisis Line at (800) 479-3339.

Existing clients should call the office to see if the message on my office phone directs you to a mental health professional who is covering my practice in the event that I am away, or if you are invited to use my cell phone in case of emergency. If you are told to leave a message, remember to speak slowly and clearly, leaving your phone number EVEN IF YOU THINK I HAVE IT.

In Case of Disaster
I am a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health volunteer and I am available to travel to the scene of a disaster for up to two weeks. Should an event of this magnitude occur, you can assume that I will be participating. I will make every attempt to call you and tell you personally, before I leave. If I cannot reach you personally, I will leave a message directing you to call my office and hear the message. On the message I will provide you with the details, and the names and phone numbers of therapists who have agreed to cover my practice while I am gone. I will also thank you for your understanding and support!
